Good question? It seems profit can be a relative term. Any successful business will make a profit. Being a businessman myself, I understand that hard work, knowledge, training, and experience, tend to equal success, in terms of profit. (but not always.) There are many different factors in any business that can break you, are make you. Profit or no profit. Let me give you an example. I chose to be a carpenter when I was younger. Good with my hands and all. I worked for a lot of companies. Some made a profit some not. The companies I worked for that closed up shop, I doubt made a profit. But nonetheless I always had the desire to have my own business. After many years in construction, the market conditions where right, so I finally had the opportunity to break away on my own. Profit potential was good, all the key elements where in place. Some of it was timing, some planned. As a contractor I decided to stay in a specialty niche market, finish carpentry, cabinets and doors, that sort of thing.
Desire and a profit where my main reasons to go in to business for my self, (and not to mention ? a damm good carpenter) The business was difficult at first, but I stuck to it. I made a decent living and my profit was good. Two principles, common sense and an open mind, where key to my success. Profit potential is everywhere and online more than I realized. The more information I gathered, making a profit online began making more sense.
Well, as the world turns, I have a desire to make a profit online. (all things considered!) Contractor or online marketer! From what I have learned, making a profit online is not as hard as I thought but also not as easy. Let me explain, hard work, knowledge, training and experience, where key elements for me to be a successful contractor. I am learning to apply the same principles to online marketing. Not so easy because I only have some knowledge to apply the skills to get the experience, but not as hard because I have the desire, a good work ethic and a program to guide me along.
For most of my life I have learned by doing, doing, doing and doing it wrong at times. I see a lot of instant online profit this! And instant online profit that! For most of us we know it is not true. Making money and earning a profit online takes time, knowledge and hard work. I have found good solid info online, there are many thousands of people making a living with some type of online business. E-commerce, affiliate marketing, and many other ways, so I have no doubt anyone can make a profit online.
