SEO can seem complex, but it's more about simplicity and keeping things clean.Remember two things: the KISS principal ("Keep It Simple, Stupid"), and content is king.
Your objective is to get search engines to rank your website high on the search results whenever someone types in a keyword and hits "search". Keep in mind that certain keywords will be very tough to get high rankings for because of stiff competition, but it's not impossible. It can be done, and it will require massive and aggressive action on your part as a marketer.

The first key is to put out good content that is well written and sprinkled with the keywords you want to get indexed for by the search engines. The more websites, articles, blogs, and press releases contain a link to your website that Google respects, the more Google or Yahoo will like your website, and place it very high on the search results.
That is the second key to SEO. There are other creative ways to get back links to your website besides writing articles. You can place comments on blogs with your link, and exchange links with other people's websites that are also highly ranked. Make sure that these other websites and blogs are related to your topic (home business, network marketing, or MLM).
