Making Money Online Not as Easy as it Seems

We’ve all seen the headlines, promising you can make money in an hour, in a week, within a month, but how many of these sites actually deliver on these promises? Having signed myself up to many of these sites, and received “free” information about how to make my fortune online, I have discovered that actually, while it may technically be possible to make money online within an hour, for most people effectively it is not. The thing with online marketing, as most sites will tell you after you have paid up, is that it takes time and effort. You have to advertise, on your own and at your own expense usually, or with the help of the company for a cost. This is not unreasonable. But I for one had a very idealised view of making money on the internet and I did not realise that would be the case! I have received many tips and tricks from the “gurus” or the “masters”, but with a year 11 typing class my only computer background (I’ve been out of school for 10 years now) I found them to be much to complicated or intricate to actually be of any use to me. Another mistake I made was to sign up for many different sites and programs. Now I have three or four web sites that COULD be making me money, but I’m all mixed up as to which one belongs to where. I have paperwork that I have to fill in and send to the US (I live in Australia), I have to wait for passwords to be mailed to me, my inbox is being flooded with information that is probably very handy to someone with a firm grasp of internet knowledge but is doing little to help me, and I’m having to work more hours at my “day job” to finance all my “make money online” jobs. I wanted my websites, my e-businesses, to make me a fortune, not cost me one. Of course this is just me. I have no proof whatsoever that any one else in the world has the same feelings about this issue. But it’s worth thinking about it seriously. The idea of working at home, being in charge of your own income and being able to work when you want is very appealing, and if you can pull it off it is probably well worth the time and effort you have put in. That is why I am pursuing my web sites, because maybe, just maybe, I’ll be able to pull it off and make myself some money online. And if I don’t persevere, I’ll never know. So my advice, if anybody is interested, is if you do start up an internet business, just start one at a time, until you’re confident you can make it work. It’s actually not that difficult to advertise and promote your site, but it does take time. If you’ve got the time, it’s a worthwhile venture, you might make yourself some money and you’ll definitely get some experience. And, if, like me, you run out of money and ideas, and have to resort to printing off flyers at home and dropping them in letterboxes, at least you’ll get plenty of fresh air and exercise. © 2007 Jessica Roberts www.jrshoponline.com

They charge larges amounts of money for the secret or they give it away because they want the people to whom they give it to become a part of their opportunity.
